氷鷹 永和 (ひだか えな)
| Name | Hidaka Ena |
|---|---|
| Etymology | 永 eternity; long-term |
| 和 harmony | |
| MBTI | ENFJ |
Ena is kind of pushy whenever it comes to principles. She often thinks that everyone shares these fundamental principles, or everyone should share these principles.
Ena is the younger sister of Hidaka Seiya. She embodies the gifts of charisma and confidence. She is also energetic, strong-willed, and basically a strategic thinker.
Some people need more time to think than others, an intolerable delay to quick-thinking Ena. She may misinterpret contemplation as stupidity or disinterest in her haste, a terrible mistake for a natural-born leader like her to make.
Maru loves her mother, though she is quite unhappy with Ena’s pushy nature without giving her space to think. Ena also doesn't like how Maru has shut herself away from her so much.
However, as they grow older and Ena becomes a single parent, they begin to improve their communication.

氷鷹 新巧 (ひだか あらた)
| Name | Hidaka Arata |
|---|---|
| Etymology | 新 new; renew; fresh |
| 巧 skillful; showy | |
| MBTI | INFP |
Arata is the younger brother, six years apart from Maru.
When they were little, they often fought over the slightest thing. But as they grow older, they never do the same thing again. Just reprimand each other if one of them makes a mistake. They have a good relationship between brother and sister (Their fight when they were little was probably because Maru was just too fond of her little brother, which she then conveyed in violence HAHA)
Although he may seem quiet or unassuming, Arata has a vibrant, passionate inner life. He tends to be thoughtful and kindhearted, and he hates the idea of hurting anyone, even unintentionally. He rarely enjoys succeeding at other people’s expense, keeps feeling called to share the good things in their lives, gives credit where it’s due, and uplifts the people around him.
Arata is a diligent child. Much like his older sister, he is interested in research, art, and design. However, he tends to enjoy videography and programming more.

Hidaka Arata
During her childhood, Maru spent much of her time at the Hidaka family's main house with her grandparents, as her parents were often busy. She and Hokuto were initially very close, but they grew apart after Maru's family moved to Shizuoka. Before the move, they lived in a house adjacent to the main family home.
Maru's grandfather taught her how to play musical instruments and they would go on walks together. With her grandmother, she did various activities like grocery shopping and embroidery. However, Maru's grandmother had more conservative views, emphasizing traditional feminine roles and discouraging her from activities considered more masculine, which Hokuto was allowed to do. Frustrated by these gender restrictions, Maru rebelled and followed her own interests, with her mother quietly supervising but rarely scolding her.
Although her grandmother initially disapproved of Maru's defiance, she eventually softened after seeing Maru's personal growth. Maru's grandfather passed away when she was 10.
池田 瑳峨能 (いけだ さがの) [N/A]
| Name | Ikeda Sagano |
|---|---|
| Etymology | 瑳 try to improve; adorn beautifully |
| 峨 A mountain high and steep. | |
| 能 skill; ability | |
| MBTI | ISTJ |
Compared to her mother, Hidaka Ena, Maru was closer to Ikeda Sagano.
Sagano comes from a family with lower-middle-class economy.
He prides himself on his integrity and is the type to dedicate himself purely to the field he excels at.
Sagano loved and deeply cared for Maru. They sometimes argue about each other's viewpoints. They rarely communicated verbally, but the bond between father and daughter was strong as they had a lot in common. Time by time, they grew closer, opened their minds to each other, and developed a strong father-daughter bond.
However, he passed away when Maru was 12 years old.

Ikeda Sagano
As a child, Maru was close to her grandparents from the Ikeda family, even though most of her childhood was spent with the Hidaka family. Growing up, she became aware of the social status conflict and psychological stress her mother faced due to the Ikeda family's behavior, especially after her father, Sagano's, death. The relationship gradually deteriorated, leading Maru and her family to change their last name back to Hidaka. While Maru forgives the past treatment from the Ikeda family, she still limits her interactions with them.

As her parents were busy, Maru spent much of her childhood at the Hidaka family's main house, forming a close bond with her grandparents and aunt, Hidaka Yayoi. She loved to buy lots of cute clothes for Maru and dress her up, as well as buy her sweets.
Yayoi often led others to mistake Maru as her own child due to their resemblance more than her mother, Ena.
After Maru's family moved to Shizuoka, Yayoi married a man from a samurai family, the Fujiwara clan, giving birth to twins named Toma and Towa, and adopted the surname Fujiwara.
Yayoi works as a hairstylist.
